Tatum O’Neil was locked up after she was caught buying cocain this weekend in New York City. Apparantly the fourty-four year old star continues to act even when the cameras are not rolling, as she was heard saying to police, “I’m researching a part – I’m doing this for a part as a junkie.” Interesting attempt to persuade the police that this drug deal was actually okay to do. She has been charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance. Ironically, this is the same woman who made a fortune in her memoir, “A Paper Life,” which told the tale of her conquering her addictions.
