OJ Simpson was sentenced to at least 15 years in prison today in a Las Vegas courtroom.
Surprisingly, OJ addressed the stand (unexpectedly) and said he was sorry and somewhat confused. Why was he confused?Maybe cause he’s used to committing felonies and getting acquitted. This must be a weird situation for him – actually getting screwed for being a dickwad.
He went on to babble about how he didn’t mean for all this to happen and bla bla… Really, we don’t care OJ, you probably didn’t do anything that bad when you robbed some junkies in Vegas. We’re just seizing our chance to get you for murdering Nicole and Ron Goldman.
OJ’s lawyer made 1 very valid point. He went on a long speech about how it’s not really Simpson’s fault, he’s just very stupid and did a stupid thing. Later in the sentencing, when the judge claimed that OJ being stupid is not a valid excuse, Simpson gave a glance over at his lawyer that was priceless.
Funniest line of OJ’s speech:
When talking about what a good person he was, OJ claims “I sung to their mothers when they were sick”
