  6. Nelly’s Video Games get Jacked!

With Circuit City going out of business, people had to find new places to grab electronics, video games, etc. Apparently Nelly’s house was having a ‘5 Finger Discount’ sale, cause some dude jacked all of his video games.

    Nelly's Video Games Robbed

The video game theft occurred in St. Louis (where the gunplay, ring all day) on Friday (the 11th). Rap superstar, Nelly, was not home at the time of the thievery, but apparently three people that also live in his house were home – but were unharmed. One wonders why three people couldn’t stop the robber dude.

  7. Youtube Music Videos = Modern day MTV

Youtube takes bite out of MTV Music Videos

A few months ago when Warner Music and Youtube came to an agreement that several artists’ music videos would be released via Youtube, showed a real change in the direction of music videos.

While it's been going on for a while (artists releasing music videos on Youtube), this agreement solidifies the move toward internet music videos dominating the music video market.

Youtube – Your new source for music videos

Remember those crazy days where MTV was actually music television? One of the only few breaks from an endless stream of music videos was Beavis & Butthead, which was 80% music videos with the duo’s commentary. It’s crazy to see how times change and now Youtube has become the most popular source for music videos. It creates a thinner line between major label music videos and independent artist’s labels. In between, of course, we have the independent labels throwing up music videos as well.

  8. Axl Rose ‘Mike Tysons’ a Photog

Axl Rose recently connected with more than a flight at LAX airport. His fist (or open hand – can’t tell) connected quite well with a photog’s face. Apparently the paparazzi was getting into a scuffle with one of the females in his entourage (groupie). Axl didn’t appreciate the photog bothering his side-chick so he charged over and punched him. Or, after looking again – maybe slapped him.

Paparazzi Photog gets Guns n’ Roses Smackdown

As you can see, it’s an Axl Rose punch, not a Mike Tyson punch – the photog was still standing after the incident and the cops weren’t called. Not sure why the photog’s not trying to squeeze some money out of Axl. You gotta respect the guy a little bit for taking a hit and not crying to the cops.
