Miley Cyrus was recently asked to be featured in Playboy once she turns 18. This was most likely brought about by Miley’s recent half naked photo shoot that was featured in Vanity Fair Magazine.
Hugh Hefner’s Jumping the Gun
I think Hef is getting a little ahead of himself on two accounts. The obvious one is age – Miley is only 15. She has 3 years until she could even think about posing in Playboy.
He’s also jumping the gun in her career lifespan. Playboy is a celebrity’s last stunt to try to stay in the limelight as their career is fading away. When they notice they’re being replaced by younger, hotter stars – they show all to grab a last breath of attention.
Miley’s career is at a peak right now. She doesn’t need Hugh Hefner and probably still won’t when she turns 18. It’s somewhat disturbing that they’re even offering a 15 year old a deal like that. Especially since Hef might not even still be around to see it.
