For a while now there have been rumors of marriage dates for the Hip Hop star couple, but no solid date set in stone – At least none that the media is aware of. But recently, Jay has been hinting more and more about the deed being done sometime very soon. Sadly, I think getting married will end up being the demise of their
relationship.
News is swarming about how the couple will soon be wed. Apparently they acquired a marriage license this past week, which means this star couple is finally ready to say “I do.” MTV News recently quoted Jay-Z as saying “one day soon – let’s leave it at that” in reference to meeting each other at the alter.
No white dress however – at least -
I’m guessing it won’t be considering they told all guests to wear off-white. I’m assuming the pair will both be wearing black, but who knows. Only thing that’s certain is that it will definitely be quite a spectacle and I’m sure the ceremony will be shining with diamonds, platinum, and if the rims on the limos will most certainly be spinning (er, I guess that’s actually not cool anymore).

The all-star couple has survived 4 years of life in the limelight, but my guess is, the marriage will ruin everything…
Why would marriage break them up after a solid 4 years together?
Simple. Because not being married (locked in for life) gave them each a slight sense of comforting freedom. Being in a celebrity relationship is hard – there is constantly rumors flying around, big egos to uphold, and the constant temptation to cheat.
Being in a relationship is loose enough of a term that gives both mega stars the comfort of knowing that they could jump out of the relationship at any time. Is Jay-Z really ready to be shacked up forever? Maybe he thinks that now, but once he’s actually married, it’ll become a lot scarier.
They’re going to lose their excitement. Let’s be real, no one wants to follow a married couple anymore – we already did that with Nick and Jessica (look what happened to them). Married couples aren’t as fun and exciting as boyfriend/girlfriend relationships that could end at any moment.
Here’s my idea of how this will all end:
Jay-Z and Beyonce will be “happily ever after” for 2 – 4 years of marriage. Then the two stars will start to fall out of the limelight and they will miss their past mega fame. They’ll start to argue from time to time, one will get caught cheating – or straying in some way – and it’ll be and end of Jay and B.
The one great thing we have to look forward too is the aftermath. I’m sure both of them will produce great hits noting their recently ended relationship – perhaps we’ll even get lucky and they’ll start battling each other with music.
Speaking of “battling” – imagine the court room potential for the end of this one. Who gets what? They’re both pretty well off on their own. This isn’t a Britney Spears & K-Fed operation, where one is superstar and one is superscum. This is two big names in the music industry, with deep pockets, and I bet it could lead to some interesting court room activity in the end.

That is such a stupid conjecture. You don`t know how they handle any situation that they are in, and even if they are married then i think that they would be able to work through it all. If you are in a relationship for that long, and if the other person that you are in a relationship with doesn`t do anything to prove you wrong about wanting to marry them, then it really isn`t any doubt that it won`t work out. And just because the media won`t be all up in their business like they used to doesn`t mean that beyonce and Jay-z are going to fall off. I can see that they`re still going to have many great hits ahead. This article is stupid.

You obviously are of low intelligence and somewhat out of touch with reality. You state that they won’t get a divorce because they’ve “been together that long” – I guess you’re a bit clueless on how high the divorce rates are. The article isn’t stupid, you are.

I hope they last….it’s hard to find a decent man or woman to partner with esp. in that industry. No relationship is perfect thus one must find qualities in the other that they can learn accept, make certain both parties are bringing the best of they’re healthy inner beings to the relationship and go from there. Lately, they have been talking about they’re relationship and I think it’s to ward off the fact that Beyonce’s father cheated and had a son by another woman, thus prompting Tina Knowles to divorce him. So Bey and Jay are being more open about they’re relationship which I think should be a no-no. People don’t need to know the in’s and out’s of the relationship. Keep it private and don’t talk about unless. When questioned just say, “We are in a good place in our relationship at this moment.” And leave it at that.
Someone made a comment about Jay being older than Bey…well I will tell you this from exp. a woman can’t soley depend on love and longevity in a relationship by choosing to be with an older man. Older men are just as capable of cheating and being dishonest just like the younger ones. So I wouldn’t put so much emphasis on having to be with someone older. I mean….if that is what you are attracted to, then it is, what it is, but there is no guan. that a younger woman with an older man will exp. less problems.
