While Lil Wayne recently got busted in prison for having an MP3 Player (I wonder if it was an iPod), Gucci Mane was recently released from prison.
Lil Wayne caught with an mp3 player in prison
Lil Wayne was caught with an mp3 player in prison which got him into some trouble. The prison guards found a charger and headphones in his trash can but were unable to find the ipod (or whatever it was). Later, they found the ipod in another prisoner’s cell (he probably was so proud to have Lil Wayne’s ipod).
Lil Wayne will not face minor charges for violating prison policies. Apparently they’re not allowed to listen to music at Riker’s Island. Was Lil Wayne writing a new song? I could see that, listening to some instrumentals and throwin down some bars to make the best use of your time while in prison.
Gucci Mane gets out of Prison
While Lil Wayne is in deep doo doo, Gucci Mane is just getting out of prison. Gucci had previously served 6 months of a one year jail term at the Georgia Fulton County Jail. He got himself in that mess by violating probation from a 2005 arrest for fighting in a club (I’ve been there, it happens).
What now for Lil Wayne & Gucci Mane
Lil Wayne is possibly going to serve a longer jail sentence, while Gucci Mane is looking to get back into the rap game and make some music… Stay tuned.
