According to the Associated Press – star actor, Jerry Seinfeld was whipping around some curvy Hamptons-area roads when he was involved in a car-rolling car crash. Apparently, he broke out some shrewd maneuvers which allowed him to avoid rolling onto a nearby highway.
So what caused the accident? Was he flying around corners, drunk, like many other movie stars? No, he hasn’t slumped down to Mel Gibson level – It appears it was a mechanical error.
Is Seinfeld ok?
Settle down Seinfeld fans and Bee Movie lovers, he’s going to be alright. In fact, he was cracking jokes immediately after the crash. He was a little shook up, but nothing keeps jerry from squeezing a laugh out of someone nearby.
“Why do they call them brakes? Doesn’t that sound a lot like ‘break’ which is what you don’t want to happen to your car? And brake rhymes with ache – Aren’t they supposed to avoid aches? Ya know someone should really change those words around – Here I just went to ‘brake’ my car and I ended up ‘breaking’ my car.”
He didn’t actually say that, but you know how his jokes are. Always picking things out and then asking questions about it to the audience. Then he follows it up with a line starting with “ya know.”
Yea… You know.
But jokes aside, the actor/writer who still entertains most of us every weeknight at 11:00pm (or 1:00am for the insomniacs) is ok – and I’m sure this will make way for many “ya know” jokes.
