Jay Z’s empire state of mind is taking over the radio (in New York at least). But before the song gets played out (it’s pushing it), Jay Z will be recording a new verse to a remix of Empire State of Mind. The new version of the song will go on Alicia Keys upcoming album, titled Element of Freedom.

From the projects to an 8,000 square feet penthouse suite….NICE. Jay has done very well for himself. He has great career, he seems to be happy with is relationship with R&B mega-superstar Beyonce Knowles….not bad for a person who grew up poor in the Macy projects of New York. I love to read about success stories, esp. when it involves an African American…..I tell you…it is truly an exp. to be black in this world and anyone who can make it should be thanking the almight power above.
