The recent Kimbo Slice bout, which was featured on prime time CBS television got poor reviews.
The show featured lots of chit-chat with a few 30 second fights every now and then. The backyard brawler, Kimbo Slice, took the victory of the main event – but there wasn’t much talent involved. What happened to the REAL MMA FIGHTING?!?!
CBS Jumped on the Kimbo Slice media hype bandwagon and cashed in on an up and coming sport. I think the lack of talent is creating a pre-mature downfall however, with less talent and more hype.
Anyone remember the good old octagon days of Royce Gracie?
