What do Brad Pitt and I have in common? Well, other than the fact that we’re both ridiculously good looking – we were both kicked out of our own premiere parties.
Brad’s Story:
During the premiere of his new movie, “The Curious Case of Benjamin Buttons” Brad apparently wasn’t flashy enough as he rolled solo and dress casual. The lack of flash got him kicked out of the premiere because the bouncers thought he was paparazzi. In the end, the mis-understanding was resolved and he went back into the premiere.
My Story:
All pumped for the premiere of 50Cent: The Money and the Power, I had arrangements with my booking agent to throw a party in NYC where the alcohol was supposed to flow like water and the ladies were supposed to be at least 6s and 7s, accompanied by some 8s and 9s. My booking agent went on and on about how the place had big screens all over the wall and they’d all be playing the premiere and everything would go smoothly. Sadly, when I showed up, they had a merely one 12 inch plasma behind the bar and a bunch of ugly ducks – that apparently drank all my alcohol, because there was none for me.
Not the type of person to react kindly to being screwed over – I demanded to see the promoter, who told my booking agent of these grand plans. After thoroughly flipping out on him, I was escorted out of the bar by some lame-town bouncers. Timing was perfect, because as I nudged out the door, my booking person was right there, so I immediately started flipping out on him as I walked to another bar with my friends.
Right as I was really getting my point across – the undercover cops said hello – the rest is on tape…
