Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz Should Start a Goth Band

I was recently browsing the web and being good looking when I saw that Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz are officially engaged. Great news – I’m happy for them – but I can’t help but comment on how they look like those gothic high school kids who act all distant and unhappy. You know the type – they kinda act as though they’re not above you, but they’re “to the side” in a way, because they don’t care about colors.

With Pete’s musical talent, and Ashlee’s lip syncing abilities, I think they two would be perfect a forming a goth band. They have the look already, right? And since Ashlee wasn’t able to penetrate the pop-culture, I think she has a great chance with the goth one. After all, she made herself quite an outcast by dancing around like an idiot on stage when she got caught lip syncing – and goths somewhat consider themselves outcasts – I think.

Ashlee might not be interested in music anymore, since she was terrible at it, but maybe they could do a tv show. Ashlee could follow in her sister’s footsteps again – use the relationship to grab some extra media attention. Newly Weds was a big hit for her and Nick (RIP Nick & Jessica). This show could be called “The Wentz Family Values” since the couple is starting to closely resemble The Adam’s Family.
