Michael Moore is well known for trying to be a political rebel with his movies. His last movie, about America’s Health care system, sent a strong message – but that message was only sent to a few people because the movie sucked.
Now Michael Moore is coming out with a sequel to Fahrenheit 9/11, which will touch on Bush’s presidency and the war in Iraq.
Ryan’s Opinion
It’s definitely a hot topic to do a movie on. The war is a very controversial matter and a lot of people have strong feelings for and against it. However, I have an inkling the movie’s going to be targeted toward making Bush look bad – which is cheap nowadays. Almost like beating up an 8 year old kid in a wheel chair. Everyone knows Bush wasn’t all that great, and we’ve all been making fun of him. It’s kinda pointless to kick him in the nuts anymore.
Also, Michael Moore needs to understand that people pay $10+ to see a movie because they want to be entertained. We don’t care about his political views, but if he can entertain us while getting his point across that’s fine. Sadly, Moore’s past documentary of health care was really boring – and I think a repeat boring movie would put him on the same level as that annoying kid in class that thinks he knows everything and keeps raising his hand asking smart questions to show off his knowledge. Nerds.
